ABOUT MRS. POPE
My name is Paige Pope and I am so excited to be teaching "Teaching as a Profession" at Walker Valley! It is truly an honor to be here in a position that has been a dream of mine since high school!

My Education:​
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Math/Science Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga! I have since added an endorsement in Family and Consumer Science.

My Experience:​
This is my second year teaching at Walker Valley! I have 4 years previous experience teaching 7th grade math at Lake Forest Middle School. I also held an interim position teaching 6th-8th grade math enrichment at East Hamilton. I student taught at Normal Park Museum Magnet (5th and 8th grade) and nannied for a family for three years. I have experience with students and children of all ages :)
About Me/Things I Love:
​​I recently got married to the love of my life! We have a standard poodle named Cooper :) I love all things Football; Hiking; Kayaking; Painting; watching movies; Cooking/Baking; Laying in my Hammock; Spending time with Friends and Family; and recently the Xbox
I LOVE THE BEACH and wish to travel to all the luxurious beaches on the most remote islands one day!!

Every student has the potential to succeed, it is my job to help ignite their passion to find success.
Every student will fail at some point, it is my job to teach them to fail forward.
